Max Park, a 21-year-old from Cerritos, California, set the world record for the fastest time to solve a 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube at 3.134 seconds on June 11, 2023 at the Pride in Long Beach event. Park's time beat the previous record of 3.47 seconds, set by Yusheng Du of China in 2018. Park also holds the single solve and average solve world records for the 4x4x4, 5x5x5, 6x6x6, and 7x7x7 cubes.
